Community Spiritualist Church

A brief history: Rev. Rainy Broms, Rev. Anthony Baglioni, started Rainy's Mystics Books and Gifts in July of 2004. The main purpose of the store was to provide support and Spiritual growth to their clients in the form of mediumship, healing, classes, books and other tools used to connect with Spirit. While the first year of classes had only around 5 students, word of mouth has spread and the classes have become very popular. Many students have been requesting more advanced level counseling and Spiritual classes. More time was request for worship and meditation and questions about ordination and certification were being asked. As such, Rainy and Tony along with Rev. Nina Johnston (a long time teacher and friend of theirs), and Mystic Jamie Kasper, hired a lawyer to start Community Spiritualist Church. As of today, March 11, 2008 CSC has incorporated and turned in the non-profit paperwork to the state and federal IRS. We have been told that we will have our 501(c)3 status retroactive to last year, but they are trying to decide if we are a church, a school or a ministry.
